Citizens Council of Delhi organized Cultural performance in Association
with Sahitya Kala Parishad, GNCTD at Centre on 26-08-2024 on the
occasion of Janamashatami in which more than 100 members participated. Chief
Guest were Sh. S. S. Monti, Former, Chairman, Standing Committee ,
MCD. The programme enjoyed by all present. The role of Shri Krishna,
Radha & Sudama was appreciated very much by all present, J. R. Gupta,
President thanked all the artists, followed by prasad. A report by

first time , 22 members of Senior Citizens Council of Delhi led by its President,
J. R. Gupta, visited New Parliament House & participated in live discussions
on Union Budget, chaired by Hon. Om Birla, Speaker, Lok Sabha in the presence
of Hon. Amit Shah, Union Home Minister, Rajnath Singh, Defence Minister,
Anurag Thakur , Parliamentary Minister & Nirmala Sitharaman, Finance

MEMBERS OF COUNCIL VISITED RAMESHWARAM & MADURAI FROM 05 TO 07-08-2024

| 36 members
of Senior Citizens Council of Delhi visited Rameshwaram & Madurai from
05 to 07-08-24. The members also met Simranjeet Singh Kahlon, Collector,
Rameshwaram. The members also visited religious & historical places
around Rameshwaram & Madurai. The members also had darshan of Rameshwaram
Temple . The members also met Chellappa, Tehsildar, Rameshwaram.
The members suddenly met Saina Nehwal, Badminton Player at Delhi
Airport J. R. Gupta, President also felicitated both Collector
& Tehsildar & returned Delhi with unforgettable memories with his
